We are currently looking for an accommodation expert who is very well-connected in the hotel industry and would like to join our global team and play a leading part in the procurement process of suitable accommodation options for our various client types.


  • Leading and overseeing the procurement team in the various offices in Germany, Brazil and the USA
  • Planning and development of effective procurement strategies
  • Optimizing the procurement process
  • Procurement and contracting of suitable accommodation suppliers around all major product lines (amongst others FIFA World Cups, UEFA European Championships, Summer and Winter Olympic Games, Champions League Final, Super Bowl, Copa America, Copa Libertadores a.s.o.)
  • Analyzing the markets of host countries and host cities for relevant sports events and product lines
  • Leading the negotiations (and re-negotiation) of accommodation supplier contracts
  • Building a global network of accommodation suppliers
  • Being present at relevant trade fairs, site visit to host countries / cities
  • Defining strategies and financial targets together with Managing Board
  • Meeting targets and KPI defined by or together with Managing Board
  • Teaching and supporting local responsible management/staff in global offices to ensure that procurement processes are in line with the standards of ABSOLUT Sport Global
  • Database updates and task related back office work
  • Supportive role in procurement processes of additional needed services, e.g. venue sourcing for ABSOLUT Sport events like CHAMPIONS League Final Experience


  • Appropriate and business-related degree preferred
  • Min. 7 years of working experience in an industry related area (hotel, tourism, etc.)
  • Very good knowledge about hotel industry and related markets
  • Willingness to travel
  • Driver’s License


  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in fast-exchanging environments and under pressure
  • Ability to solve problems with an analytical approach and in a time-efficient manner
  • Strong commercial aptitude with thorough expertise of working in a contracting, sales and marketing environment providing and interpreting financial information
  • Experience in sourcing and handling accommodation for Teams or Federations is an advantage
  • Language Skills:
    • German: excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • English: excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Any other language, especially Spanish and/or Portuguese, is an advantage
  • IT:
    • MS Office: very good knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Salesforce knowledge is an advantage
